Thompson Cove
Thompson Cove is a remote sandy coastal cove in the Nuyts Wilderness area of Walpole-Nornalup National Park. Reaching it from Mount Clare picnic area involves an approximately 18-kilometre return walk through a walking-only wilderness with limited trail marking, no facilities and exposed conditions. The route is intended for fit, experienced and self-sufficient bushwalkers. Camping on the beach is possible, but visitors need to carry their own water, food, navigation equipment and emergency supplies.
