Tennyson Beach

Tennyson Beach is a wide sandy beach on Adelaide’s Gulf St Vincent coast, fronting the protected Tennyson Dunes. The fine white dunes form a distinctive landscape shaped by longshore drift, while the reserve supports walking, swimming, kayaking or canoeing, fishing and birdwatching. Parking and public-transport access are available around the reserve, and sunsets are a notable part of the setting. Wind and wave conditions can change, so choose water activities carefully.
