Meteor Bay
Meteor Bay is a rugged beach on the southern Yorke Peninsula, reached through the Hillocks Drive property. Access to the shore is via a path over sand dunes; vehicle entry requires permission and a 4WD. The consolidated sandy slope above the beach is broken by pink, grey and black rock outcrops. The coast is exposed to turbulent Investigator Strait conditions, so swimming is not advised; the associated camp has a toilet about 20 metres away and showers 4.2 kilometres away.
