Macs Beach

Macs Beach forms part of a long, low-energy sandy shoreline on the eastern side of Yorke Peninsula. Wide tidal sand flats sit in front of a narrow shelly high-tide beach, with seagrass debris accumulating in places and the coast continuing south toward Tiddy Widdy Beach. Macs Beach Road reaches the coast, but the setting remains natural and lightly developed. Visitors should account for tides, wind and the shallow intertidal terrain when planning time by the water.
