Catherine Bay
Catherine Bay is a sandy shoreline at the northern tip of Rottnest Island, mapped as Catherine Beach in OSM. It can be reached by bicycle, Island Explorer bus stop 16 or the Karlinyah Bidi hiking trail. Its long shoreline offers room to unwind within Rottnest’s landscape of dunes, limestone reefs and marine life. Wind, swell and tide can change conditions, so check the local situation before entering the water.
