About this beach
Thale Waek, also known as the Separated Sea, is a white sandy tidal bar off Krabi that emerges as the sea retreats. It forms a temporary shoreline connection between Ko Kai, Ko Thap and Ko Mo, making the site a distinctive stop on island-hopping routes. Visitors generally reach it by long-tail boat, speedboat or an organised day tour from Ao Nang or Krabi.
