About this beach
Rantee is a bay on the east coast of Phi Phi Don with a narrow strip of sand about 290 m long, beneath the hill of the island’s main viewpoint and away from the busy village. A shallow coral reef lies roughly 80 m offshore and is a regular snorkelling stop for round-island boat trips. Views stretch north to Bamboo and Mosquito islands and the Krabi coast. Longtails run from Ton Sai; a trail crosses the hill.
