About this beach
Long Beach, or Hat Yao, runs for around 750 m along the south coast of Phi Phi Don east of Ton Sai, with soft pale sand and views across to Phi Phi Leh. Bungalow resorts, dive shops and restaurants line the shore, and reefs lie close in; the offshore rocks of Shark Point are known for blacktip reef sharks. Longtails from Ton Sai pier take a few minutes, or a rocky trail can be walked in daylight.
