About this beach
Loh Samah Bay is a U-shaped cove just behind Maya Bay on Ko Phi Phi Le, known for its emerald water and a large rock in its middle. A very small beach lies at the end of a narrow inlet, and the bay is a regular stop for snorkelling over coral. Boats carrying visitors to Maya Bay moor at a floating pier on the bay’s western side, from where a walkway leads across to Maya Bay.
