About this beach
Loh Lana Bay is a quiet sandy bay on the north-west coast of Phi Phi Don, reached on foot by a track across the island from Loh Bagao. The 2004 tsunami broke through the low ground here, passing from this bay to Loh Bagao. From the western end, a short path over a rocky rise of about 40 m leads to Nui Beach, passable mainly at low tide; the rock is sharp, so sturdy shoes help.
