About this beach

Laem Tanod Beach is a sandy beach of about 300 metres at the southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai, beside the Mu Ko Lanta National Park headquarters. Its shallow water is turquoise, and a white lighthouse stands on the cape at the western end, where the sand meets a pebble cove. The point is a favourite sunset spot. A 1.7 km nature trail starts near the visitor centre, and park entry is paid.
