About this beach

Kantiang Bay lies on the southern part of Koh Lanta Yai’s west coast, with about a kilometre of broad, clean white sand. Resorts sit behind the beach and the small village of Ba Kan Tiang lies a little inland, while coral in the bay draws snorkellers. Facing south-west, the shore is a favoured sunset viewpoint; waves can build during the south-west monsoon.
