Ao Kruat is a quiet bay at the southwestern end of Koh Nok Phao, a small fishing island about 5 km off Don Sak. A walkway along the shore links it to the village side and its pier, and the island can be explored by bicycle or motorbike. Local longtail boats make the crossing in about 30 minutes; January to May is the suitable season for the trip and sea activities.
