About this beach
Playón de Bayas is a broad sand beach about 2.8 km long that marks the boundary between the councils of Castrillón and Soto del Barco. Its dune system gives it high ecological value, and it lies within a Natural Monument and Natura protected areas. Swell is strong and the surroundings are isolated.
