About this beach

Las Arenas is an isolated beach of about 150 metres in Buenavista del Norte, known for a microclimate that shelters it from north-westerly winds. It is sandy from June to November and loses its sand in winter, turning into a pebble beach. The swell can be strong, and the coast has protected natural habitats.
