About this beach
L’Espigó is a recently opened urban pebble beach in the centre of Altea, about 600 m long and 25 m wide. The surface is gravel and stones, and the breakwaters protecting the shore keep the sea calm. Being in the middle of town, it is usually busy, and it is reached easily on foot or by car.
