Es Caló sits at the narrowest point of the isthmus joining the island’s two opposite highlands in Formentera. The beach is about 100 m long and 30 m wide, with sand mixed with clay. A nearby pine grove, the colour of the sea and rustic fishermen’s sheds give it a special charm. Swell is moderate.
