El Francàs is a fine-sand beach of about 1.1 km by 30 m in El Vendrell. It lies in an urban setting and is heavily used. The water is calm, there is some vegetation, and it can be reached on foot, by car or by boat. Coma-ruga beach is about 750 m away.
