Can Comes is a very long beach of fine golden sand, about 3.75 km by 125 m, set inside the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park. The setting is isolated and access can be limited at certain times of the year. The area is a bird reserve, and the sea is moderately rough and often windy.
