Arenales del Sol is an urban golden-sand beach in the north of Elche, about 2.3 km long and 40 m wide. The sea usually has a moderate swell. This stretch of coast also holds coastal dune ecosystems of high ecological value. It is reached on foot or by car and is busy in summer.
