About this beach
América is an urban sand beach in Nigrán, about 1.3 km long and 100 m wide, occupying a large part of the Baiona ría. Vegetation grows behind the sand. Swell is moderate and the beach is often windy. It is reached on foot or by car and has a lively, cosmopolitan feel.
