About this beach
A Frouxeira is a broad sandy beach in Valdoviño, about 3 km long and 80 m wide, in a semi-urban setting. Open to the Atlantic, it gets strong surf and wind. The area is covered by LIC, ZEPA and Ramsar protection designations. Access is by car, and it is one of the better-known beaches of the area.
