Ketewel Beach, also known as Pantai Gumicik, is a quiet shore of fine dark volcanic sand on the Gianyar coast near Sukawati. Coconut palms line the shoreline, a small seaside temple stands nearby, and a few warungs and guesthouses serve visitors. The shore faces east, so sunrise is the highlight; check waves and currents before entering the water.
