South Cottesloe Beach

South Cottesloe Beach is a quieter coastal section south of Cottesloe's main beach, defined by rocky reefs and cliffs rather than a broad sandy foreshore. It is used for swimming, snorkelling, picnics and sunset watching, while surfers and wind- or kitesurfers favour the exposed coast. Near Dutch Inn Playground there is free untimed parking, a playground and a level path toward the foreshore, but no public toilet at that access point. Rocky footing and changing sea conditions call for care.
