Smiths Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Smiths Beach lies near Yallingup on Western Australia’s south-west coast, with a broad sweep of white sand and a public foreshore setting. The Smiths Beach car park provides a practical starting point, while public toilets and showers are available nearby. Sheltered sections can suit family swimming, whereas other parts are popular for surfing and bodyboarding, so visitors should assess the day’s surf and shoreline conditions before entering the water. Coastal walks link the beach with the Cape to Cape network and can include soft sand, steep dunes and rocky ground; some access points are four-wheel-drive only.
