Melros Beach

Melros Beach is a sandy ocean beach of roughly 1.3 kilometres on the Dawesville coast. Beachrock outcrops along the shoreline create variations in wave height and in-water conditions. Visitors can park nearby and walk through the dunes to the sand, with public toilets within walking distance; a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not needed. The surrounding foreshore reserve and nearby cafés make it a useful local day-trip stop, while the rocky sections still call for care around the water.
