Geraldton Back Beach
- Surf spot
Geraldton Back Beach is a white-sand beach on Geraldton’s southern coast and one of the area’s established surfing destinations. Visitors come for surfing, boogie boarding, kiteboarding, fishing, swimming and coastal walks, with the beach break becoming more demanding as swell increases. The foreshore reserve provides car parking and public toilets. Southern swells can produce strong surf, so swimming conditions should be assessed carefully and children may find the open-water conditions unsuitable.
